Somayah Nouruzi

Somayah Nouruzi is the Founder and CEO of AiVerg, a social enterprise tech venture dedicated to pioneering the safe and ethical application of AI to serve marginalized communities worldwide. Her core mission is to develop technology precisely calibrated to context and language, ensuring inclusive outcomes that reduce inequality in the digital age.

Somayah currently leads efforts in the human-centered integration of AI in healthcare within the generative AI program at the Mayo Clinic. Her vision is powerfully informed by her extensive background in justice and humanitarian work in Afghanistan, which included leading critical grassroots projects and handling crucial Rule of Law cases for vulnerable communities at the Attorney General's Office.

A current Humphrey Policy Fellow at the University of Minnesota, she holds an MS in Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a law degree from Afghanistan.
